It's sad that this was one of Michael's favorite songs.

Usually you have to have something in common with the song for it to be one of you favorites, and I can see how this can relate to Michael. It's really sad. :'(

I actually looked it last night on the HIStory album and Charlie Chaplin created the music, but 2 other people actually wrote the song.

I LOVE this song. And, I love how Michael sings it. I've been going through some scarey issues the last few months, and I've been listening to this song more then ever. I really needed that reminder to Smile.. and Michael reminding me, made it even more special.

It also means a lot to me, that it was Michael's favorite song, because, it was also, my grandmother's favorite. Well, I don't think she ever heard MJ's version, but, when I hear him sing it, I think of her. And, him.
